This is what I was doing last night instead of my homework. I'm rather happy with it, depsite problems it may have. I'm slowly working my way up from drawing like crap, to drawing isolated things alright (my current stage), to being able to draw scenes and things from my head and so forth. So, for right now, you have Sirius and Remus snogging. Or anyone else you'd want to imagine they are, but that's my choice.
I gacked the pose from manpaper.com, but Sirius's hair and Remus's hand are mine and Remus's hair I made up myself, which I'm quite proud of as I always suck at hair. The drawing's done in plain old boring mechanical pencil. You know, I bought a set of nice drawing pencils and I never use them.
My favorite parts are their hair and eyes. And Remus's collarbone, which I didn't think was going to turn out nearly as well as it did. Things I don't like are Remus's hand, which looks weird to me, the ears and Remus's shading, which I think got too dark, even though that's how it was in the photo.
Anyway, my first deviant art, hooray for me. And yes, the only reason Sirius has a goatee is so he doesn't look like a girl.
Hey! That's really good! I love pencil portraits, particularly of snogging pups. (I'm from remusxsirius if you were wondering.) Looking forward to seeing more of your art! Welcome to DA!

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article.
In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
